TV APPEARANCE: March 22nd 2006, YLE TV2 Lista
When not on Bringing Back The Balls To Finland 2006 -tour, Lordi did a few promotional events and appearances during the spring of 2006. On March 22nd, they performed, as a playback, the songs Bringing Back The Balls To Rock and Hard Rock Hallelujah on live TV broadcast, Lista which was a weekly Top 40 -program on YLE TV2. Lordi’s performance had full pyrotechnics and effects, and 50 fans got to be in the studio audience. And I got to work with Pyroman Ltd. making that happen. Here’s a collection of photos from setting up the stage, the rehearsal, the performances, the intermission and the short meet & greet the band did with the fans. Included is a photo I took in the break room of Lordi, OX and Kita with the guys from the legendary Finnish comedy group Kummeli and Jonna Geagea and Lauri Porra from Jonna’s Problem. They all made their appearances on the TV show. This was a fun night and my first endeavour into a live TV broadcast. After the rest of the BBTBTF tour, there was another TV appearance we’ll delve into next week!
