TV APPEARANCE: Emma-gaala 2003
The very next day after the show at Nosturi, Helsinki, Lordi made an appearance on Finnish national TV during the Emma-gaala award ceremony, at Kulttuuritalo, Helsinki, March 8th 2003. Lordi was nominated for the best pop/rock -newcomer and their album Get Heavy was nominated for the best debut album, and the best hard rock/metal album of 2002. They won the award in the best hard rock/metal album -category. After receiving the award, at the end of the show, they went on and performed the song Would You Love A Monsterman? as a playback, but with full pyro effects. Here’s a few photos from that night. I didn’t have a very good camera available, but hey, they’re still an important piece of Lordi history! :)
