LIVE: March 7th 2003, Nosturi, Helsinki, Finland
Lordi had their first ever full live show at Nosturi, Helsinki in December 2002. After two shows in Germany supporting Nighwish, they returned to a sold-out Nosturi in March 2003 for their second gig in Finland. Even though I was on their debut gig rocking and banging my head off, this was the first time I got to see and experience the monster show from an insider’s perspective. The band invited me to join them at the venue early that day and told me to bring my camera so I could document and take photos for my recently started website. This kicked off my personal Lordi journey and adventure in close cooperation with the band, that lasted for over a half a decade and about a hundred gigs, events and appearances.
