LIVE: June 24th 2006, Kalajoen Juhannus, Kalajoki, Finland

The last show of the 4-gig mini tour was at Kalajoen Juhannus festival on Midsummer’s Eve, June 24th 2006. This was a really challenging one for the band and the whole crew. A strong wind blew tons of sand from the beach’s shoals and sandbanks into the air and up on the stage. We had to improvise and anchor some of the set pieces and props tightly to the stage. You can see and feel the wind in some of these photos. Also the sun was shining really bright but seconds later the stage was covered in a huge dust cloud. Even the touch screen on Awa’s keyboard stopped working because of all the sand. All things considered, the gig itself was amazing and the crowd was big and got exactly what they wanted and came for! Twenty of these photos are never before seen, so enjoy these summer vibes in the middle of the winter!
