ON SET: July 3rd 2006, Who’s Your Daddy? music video 1/2

In the middle of the summer shows, on July 3rd 2006, Lordi had time to shoot a new music video for the song Who’s Your Daddy? The next single off The Arockalypse was originally supposed to be It Snows In Hell, but the record label wanted to release a more of a straight up rock song during the summer and leave Snows for later, the following holiday season. Fun fact and apparently a very unpopular opinion; I don’t like this song at all. Don’t know what it is but I’ve always thought this one as a throwaway and probably my least favorite, most boring Lordi song ever. Now with that out of the way, let’s get into the good stuff ;)

The video is directed once again by Pete Riski and shares visually very strong vibes with Dynasty era Kiss videos. It’s set in a roller disco rink where a young couple are about to get it on but the band makes an unforgettable appearance. This video was shot at Gloria Cultural Arena in Helsinki and the band invited me there for one very long, 12-hour day to help in various tasks and get exclusive behind-the-scenes content for the original MDH website. This gallery is going to be so big I’m gonna split it into two parts and here’s the first half! Come back next week for the rest of the photos, and when they unleashed a pack of demonic vampire dancer chicks!
